The Zoo is currently undergoing a massive restoration program on their main entrance to drastically reduce queue waiting times and give visitors a more interesting place to enter the zoo.

Park J was introduced with the objective to "reduce greenhouse gas emissions by efficiently using energy". This meant insulation had to be increased in most newly constructed walls and roofs in order to comply with regulations.

Foamular Extruded Polystyrene was used for a roof membrane system and under the Main Plaza. 4500 meters square of Foamular was used throughout the project.
